Working with dogs takes time, not treats

A dog that has just met you will watch you, not the camera. So the first part of every session is a walk. No gear, no commands, nothing to react to.

Once the dog settles, I work from the ground at its own height and keep shooting long after the obvious frames are in. The good ones almost always come at the end.
