Dogs photographed from their own height, in the last hour of daylight.
Every session started the same way: camera down, twenty minutes of nothing, until the dog stopped caring that I was there.
Shooting from the ground changes everything. The horizon drops, the grass comes into the frame and the dog looks at you instead of down at you.
